II Seville Forum on Machinery for Decarbonization
The Seville Forum on Machinery for Decarbonization (SFMD) is a joint industry-government-academia forum with the primary goal to advance efficient, carbon-neutral and cost-effective technologies for the production and storage of electric power and thermal energy. It provides an open information and networking opportunity with international researchers, industry partners, and end-users meeting to discuss state-of-the-art technology and application requirements, identify technology gaps and research needs, and develop guidance to coordinate and direct future pre-competitive R&D activities and demonstrators related to low-carbon technologies for the energy and industry markets. Open discussion sessions will be held to solicit input from workshop participants on the direction of future actions involving funding institutions. This 1.5-day event is organized by the University of Seville with support by members from industry, academia and government.
